The New Motoric Schemas Method uses techniques of multi-joint resistance exercises to reduce muscle asymmetry and consciously interfere with global motor patterns.
What We Do
NEMOS is a Polish brand founded out of the need to develop an effective way of addressing one of the most problematic areas of the human body – excessively tight and shortened hip flexors.
We design machines that allow this muscle group to be subjected to precisely controlled load, using resistance training as a tool to restore muscular balance around the pelvis region. NEMOS machines are developed based on scientific research in anatomy, physiology, and sports science, translating scientific knowledge into practical training equipment.
Our goal is to design exercises that influence human global motoric schemas and help build muscular balance throughout the musculoskeletal system.
About the author
The method was developed by Dobrochna Fryc, founder of NEMOS and a physical anthropologist who conducted research evaluating the effectiveness of the NEMOS.1 machine as part of her doctoral studies at the Department of Biomechatronics, Faculty of Biomedical Engineering at Silesian University of Technology.
Her research focuses on muscular balance and morpho-functional lateral and antagonistic asymmetry of the muscles responsible for stabilizing the pelvic girdle.
